Gryaznova, E. V. ‘Fragile’ State: Definition Criteria

Abstract: The author of this article analyzes the existing definitions and criteria of the ‘fragile’ state. The author also provides examples of defining such a state based on the described criteria. The purpose of the article is to show that there is a certain opportunity to develop particular methods for defining a fragile state. Based on the example of Russia, the author shows how some of such methods can be used. The article contains graphs and tables and provides references to statistic databases.
