Ph.D. in Technical Sciences (1989). Work at the Research Institutes of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1974-1982) and 3rd head office at the Ministry of Healthcare of USSR (1983-1991). Circle of scientific interests: physics of combustion and explosion, problems of supersonic gas dynamics, questions of mathematical (computer) modeling of these processes. Work in the federal government (1991-2013). Since 2009, Leading Scientific Associate at the Institute of Socio-Political Research under the Russian Academy of Sciences (governance of science and innovation).
