Abstract: The appearance of parties on the Russian political scene at the beginning of the 20th century and their subsequent legalization during the first Russian Revolution were not a coincidence in Russian history and law. This process was prepared by a number of social phenomena and historical events, despite the fact that it bore its first fruits much later than in European countries, where the first mass political parties were already forming in the second half of the XIX century…The history of the creation of Russian parties is considered in this article by N.V.
