Snezhko, O.A. The President of the Russian Federation as a guarantor of rights and freedoms of citizens.

Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of key characteristics of the legal institution of President of the Russian Federation as part of the system of protection of human rights by the state. In particular, the author analyses role of the Ukazs and Addresses of the President of the Russian Federation, work of the Human Rights Commission of the President of the Russian Federation as well as the practice of the Constitutional court of the Russian Federation on the issue of President’s powers.
