Manoylo, A.V. Psychological operations of the NATO in the Gulf of Aden and fighting pirates.

Abstract: The year 2008 was key for the active fight of the armed forces of many states with the Somali pirates. Groups of combat ships were sent to the region by the EU and NATO, ships of Russia, China, India, Japan keep their presence in the region. At least one of the pirate ships got sank, and dozens of pirates were captured. The article includes analysis of tactics of the anti-pirate coalition, which ensures the security of ships in the Aden Gulf.
