Chertkov, A.N. Legal regulation of changes in the list of constituent subjects of the Russian Federation.

Abstract: As the author of this article points out, the current mechanism of changes into the list of constituent subjects of the Russian Federation is quite efficient, it presupposes acceptance of new subjects, or formation of new subjects by uniting two or more border subjects. Further development of this mechanism with the more and more conceptual definition of its directions and priorities in the sphere of changes in the list of subjects of the Russian Federation is capable of ensuring efficient territorial development.
