Abstract: Abstract: Sadistic traits are often met nowadays. Many people enjoy doing harm to others. However, true sadistic character is quite rare mostly because sadistic occurrences are usually disapproved by the society unlike masochistic ones. Perhaps this is the reason why the psychoanalytic theory does not cover the nature of sadistic character in a full way.
