Kistrinova, O.V. Perspectives of development of federalism in Russia.Abstract: Russia is one of the largest states in the world, including a vast variety of climatic zones, various nationalities and ethnoses. Thus, it has all the necessary prerequisites for a federal states. However, Russia also needs to be a federation, which acts upon the constitutional principles and pays attention to interests of various peoples and territories. It, in turn, calls for a reform of current federal relations.
