Interaction between the people and the government as a factor for higher efficiency of the municipal self-governmentAbstract: The need for interaction between the people and the government, especially at the municipal level is a generally recognized fact. However, this thesis is accepted a priori without due recognition of its nature and the objective need for such an interaction. In this article based on a systemic approach, the authors establish that the improvement of interaction between the people and the government are key for the more efficient municipal selfgovernment in Russia.
