Abstract: The author considers the reasons of collision and competition of legal norms in criminal law in criminal law. Based on the nature of collision and competition legal norms, the author proves the different nature of their origin, explains the reasons for their occurrence. Problematic issues are considered from the standpoint of general philosophical notions of cause and effect phenomena.
