Ursul, A. D. Relation between Security and Development in the Context of Universal EvolutionismAbstract: The author analyzed the problem of security from the point of view of general theory of development and universal evolutionism. The article contains a hypothesis that self-preservation of the material is a more fundamental principle than evolution. The author introduced the term of 'security corridor' and showed that a sustainable development combined progressive development with security protection of the society and environment.
