Abstract: The subject of the study is the features of the implementation of symbolic meanings of images-symbols of the elements in the phraseological picture of the world based on the material of the Ukrainian language. Research objectives: to identify phraseological units with components-names-of-elements from the phraseological composition of the Ukrainian language; to determine the place of phraseological units of the Ukrainian language of the studied group in the language picture of the world; to consider the characteristic manifestations of the implementation of symbolic meanings of components-names of the elements in Ukrainian phraseological units.
The research methodology is based on a combination of theoretical and empirical approaches using the methods of analysis, generalization and synthesis. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that phraseological units with the components water, fire and earth are analyzed using the material of the Ukrainian language: the study of phraseological units associated with the designation of natural phenomena makes it possible to identify the features of the linguistic picture of the world and folk thinking and allows for a better understanding of the value attitudes and specifics of the worldview of the Ukrainian people. Over the centuries, the elements have personified various aspects of human life and nature, thereby creating a rich palette of images that are reflected in phraseology. The symbolic meaning of the image-symbol fire is most often realized in the meanings: destructive or dangerous force, intensification of feelings, anger, speed, test. The symbolic meanings of the image-symbol fire are represented in the phraseology of the Ukrainian language by the following semes: danger, speed, suffering, illness, anger, excitement, blushing, negative character traits, exaltation. Phraseologisms with the symbolic image of earth are often associated with the concepts of social status, respect, life.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the ideographic and semantic characteristics of phraseological units. The subject of the study is the phraseological units of the Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages, denoting deviant human behavior. The purpose of the article is to identify from the phraseological composition of the Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages a group of phraseological units, the common semantic feature of which has an extralinguistic nature (all of them denote deviant human behavior), and to describe the semantic features of these phraseological units, taking into account the achievements of modern phraseological and psychological sciences.
The scheme of ideographic classification of the language proposed by Professor Y. F. Pradid and tested in the works of his students was used in the work. The ideographic classification has the following structure: synonymic series → semantic group → semantic field → thematic group → thematic field → ideographic group → ideographic field → archipole. Two thematic groups are distinguished in the thematic field of phraseological units "Deviant human behavior": "Criminal human behavior", "Criminally non-punishable (non-contrary) immoral human behavior". The theoretical and methodological basis of the research was the works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of phraseology and psychology. A descriptive method was used when writing the article. The scientific novelty of the research is determined by a comprehensive approach to the analysis of the complex mechanism of the phraseological microsystem "Deviant human behavior" in Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages. The complex application of ideographic and semantic aspects allowed us to obtain new results regarding the essence and semantic organization of this layer of phraseological units, the place of the phraseological microsystem "Deviant human behavior" in the structure of the phraseological system of the Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages.
The ideographic and semantic analysis of phraseological units combined into the phraseological microsystem "Deviant human behavior" gave grounds to conclude that the structure of this thematic field corresponds to the categorization of deviant behavior presented in psychological science.
The analysis of phraseological units denoting deviant human behavior will contribute to further linguistic research of phraseological ideography, the development of a general typology of research methods for phraseological microsystems in ideographic and semantic aspects.

Abstract: The article is devoted to structural grammatical models of Ukranian phraseological units with the heart component. Despite a great number of researches on phraseology, modelling of phraseological units is still an understudied issue while many researchers believe it to be a new and promising area of researches devoted to the phraseological corpus of the language. The aim of the research is to find phraseological units with the heart component in novels written by Ukranian writers and determine dominating types of their structural grammatical models. The methodological and theoretical frameworks include researches of L. Avskentiev, V. Arkhangelsky, A. Babkin, V. Vinogradov, V. Zhukov, B. Larin, V. Mokienko, V. Telia, and N. Shansky. The results of the analysis carried out by the author demonstrate that structural grammatical models of Ukranian phraseological units with the heart component have a very varied structure. Regardless of their structure, phraseological units correlate to certain parts of speech depending on their meaning and syntactical function. Phraseological models can be divided into two groups: 1) equal to word combinations (6 models); and 2) equal to sentences (2 models). The main conclusions of the research demonstrate a great variety of phraseological models and specifics and singularity of Ukranian phraseological units. The authors also underline that it is impossible to carry out modern analysis of phraseology without taking into account modelability of a language structure.
