Abstract: This is a review of the book ‘Way to Recognition. Three Essays’ by Paul Ricoeur. The author describes the essence of Ricoeur’s study based on a multiple meaning of the word ‘recognition’. Special attention is given at the connection of terms ‘recognition’ and ‘self-recognition’.
