Abstract: This article is devoted to the topical issues, regarding the object and method of modern international private law. As a result of detailed analysis of the system and structure of private law relations with a foreign element, as well as confl ict of laws, and material law methods of regulation, the author offers to include doctrinal defi nition of the international private law.
