Ivanova, O. V. Ethics Studies of the Scientific Community and its Development TrendsAbstract: The article covers the studies of the scientific community from R. Merton up to the present as well as contains conclusions regarding further development of ethics of the scientific community. Special attention is drawn to existing mechanisms of ethical regulation not only within the community but also in related spheres such as education and entrepreneurship. In the end the author concluded that it was possible to borrow certain mechanisms of ethical regulation from corporate governance and business ethics.
