Abstract: As the author of this article points out, among the characteristic features of the Russian civilization process there have always been hypertrophied role of the state power in relation the the Russian society and on-going reforms throughout many periods of Russian history. What are the sources of these peculiar features of the Russian statehood and how do they influence the development of Russia?
