Abstract: The article is devoted to the topical issue of establishing the reasonable limits when establishing payment for the services of representative (advocate) in civil and arbitration (commercial) proceedings. Sometimes the judges use unlimited judicial discretion, when they establish the reasonable amount of compensation. The author offers a list of criteria for reasonable size of compensation, including factual loss of time.
