Abstract:

Abstract:
The article analyzes V. S. Stepin’s views on culture. It is shown that his views altogether form a fundamental theory
which actually makes a great contribution to cultural studies. Stepin’s researches build a multi-dimension overall ‘picture of the
world’. Culture is viewed as a system of trans-biological programs of activity, a specific form of coding of social information, a
system of social and spiritual programs. Stepin has also described so-called cultural universals which are the basic elements of
the system of culture, in this regard the author of the article underlines the organic interconnection between certain categories
in philosophy and cultural studies. It is shown that V. S. Stepin’s theory of culture plays a great role for theory and practice.

Abstract:
The author of the article studies the problem of faith and views it not as a religious or a gnoseological phenomenon
but as an everyday life value. The author describes the mechanism of faith as an ontological phenomenon and its functions.
It is proved that faith is not only a revelation of personality and its genuineness. According to the author, an efficient instrument
to solve the problem of human existence would be to develop the ontological approach to faith which would combine
precious ideas of both Martin Heidegger’s fundamental ontology and P. A. Florensky’s Russian religious philosophy. The
article will be of interest not only to philosophers, but also to everyone interested in the challenges of human.

Abstract:
The article discusses the ‘hot spots’ of interaction between modern biology and Christian doctrine – the model of
evolution, genetic code and a natural scientific ground for morals. The hypothesis of evolution solves the problem of the
mechanism of creation while Christianity solves the problem of its purpose. The fact that genetic code is unique proves
that the creation is unique, too. Evolution of morals from natural mechanisms to a free choice of human does not abolish
individual exertions of a person when transferring into the spiritual sphere.

Abstract:
Starting from the anal stage described by Sigmund Freud the author gives philosophical and anthropological
grounds for his theory of existence of the lower part of the body. The author studies mythological materials from the
point of view of age stages. The author shows that despite a great variety of ceremonies and religious faiths humanity
has always shown consistency in his attention towards defecation and urination. All modern civilizations clearly show it.

Abstract:
Russia is a country of many nations and one of Russia’s current goals is to strengthen the unity of the country. This goal
cannot be reached without establishing good transnational relations between Russia’s peoples. In the first place it refers to overcoming
the consequences of conflicts in Chechnya. It is obvious that good transnational and transcultural relations can be built on
knowledge of peculiarities of these peoples’ national mentalities. And the national mentality is determined by its history and culture.
Based on a series of articles and publications in the sphere of history, language studies of the Nakh people, social sciences and
national arts and crafts, the author of the article carries out a social and philosophical analysis of the Vainakh society and shares
her view on the discussion issue of formation of the Vainakh society (ancestors of modern Chechens) and their mentality.

Abstract:
The problem of finiteness of human existence was deeply considered by Emmanuel Levinas and Jacques Derrida
who became interested in this sphere during the last period of development of his philosophy. Levinas assumed that in the
face of Infinity human can actually go beyond the course of history due to his inner feeling of time and parental qualities.
Derrida was greatly influenced by Levinas’ ideas but at the same time he interpreted the problem of finality of human from
the point of view of his grammatology. He spoke that human was constantly striving for survival which expressed itself at
an existential level, in leaving traces and a constant dialogue with a cultural tradition.

Abstract:
Based on I. T. Kasavin’s book ‘Text. Discourse. Context’ the author analyzes the modern way of existence of a
philosophical text, an author and conceptions involved. The author describes a new sphere of knowledge combining various
points of views and conceptual systems. Based on the example of Kasavin’s social epistemology of language the author
of the article suggests to view such fields of discussion as multidimensional spaces of non-classical type, heterotopy
in according with the concept introduced by Foucault.
