Abstract:
Nowadays, learning foreign languages is an important aspect of modern human life. This article discusses methods of effective teaching of a foreign language in non-linguistic educational institutions. The author studies methods of learning foreign languages in non-linguistic educational institutions. When researching the topic, many questions arose: Is there a relationship between mastering a foreign language and the teacher's attitude to the discipline being taught? What factors influence the learning of foreign languages? Is it possible to form an interest in a subject through curiosity in the learning process? How can students be motivated to learn a foreign language in non-linguistic institutions? The main task was to find ways to solve the problem of educational material development in the absence of interest in the subject. To implement it, theoretical aspects, statistics of foreign language learning among first and second-year students of a non-linguistic educational institution based on a questionnaire, and practical methods of mastering foreign language material were used. The results were expected: Students are partially involved in the language environment due to ignorance of grammatical basics and their application in practice, misunderstanding of foreign language speech when using audio-linguistic means of communication, and, as a result, the inability to build monological and dialogical speech. Based on the survey data, it can be concluded that most students are focused on learning a foreign language, which is necessary in the future. Naturally, a conscious interest and incentive would be comfortable conditions for productive language learning, but this is more a utopia than fertile ground for students of non-core specialties. In this regard, there are questions about learning and teaching foreign languages. The primary condition in learning a foreign language is motivation.

The paper "On the issue of teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic educational institutions" is submitted for review. The subject of the study. The work is aimed at identifying the features of teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic educational institutions. In general, the set goals and objectives have been achieved, and the content has been disclosed. The methodology of the research is the work of V.N. Kurutikov, V.M. Perov, Shernoff D.J., Passova E.I. and others. The author conducted theoretical and empirical research in the work. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that, despite the importance of the problem, there remains a significant number of difficulties and scientific deficits: there is an insufficient level of preparedness of teachers and training of students, there is no interest and there is a low degree of motivation among students. Therefore, it is important to find mechanisms that will help resolve the issues raised. Scientific novelty of the research: the actual content of teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic educational institutions has been determined. Style, structure, content. The style of presentation corresponds to publications of this level. The language of the work is scientific. The structure of the work is not clearly traced, the author has not highlighted the main semantic parts. The introduction identifies the problem of research. The author notes that despite all the advantages of a foreign language, mastering this area remains incomplete, and the causes and factors of this phenomenon are highlighted. It is noted in the paper that it is important to interest students. Students of non-linguistic specialties generally adhere to the opinion that they do not consider it a necessary subject for scientific research, do not need a foreign language for professional activity, and certain efforts are required to master it. The reason is that the level of knowledge is low, there is no motivation for learning activities and, above all, a way to acquire knowledge independently. Therefore, the author conducted a study. The second section contains a description of the survey on the problem of motivation of students to learn a foreign language. The author analyzed the data obtained, drew conclusions and presented recommendations and development prospects. Conditionally, the questions were divided into three blocks, revealing the motivation, need and conditions of learning a foreign language. Based on the results of the survey, the author came to the conclusion that respondents have a greater degree of external motivation, in which the professional and personal qualities of a teacher are important in order to create comfortable conditions for learning a foreign language. He notes that foreign languages in non-linguistic educational institutions are not included in the list of specialized subjects, which reduces their importance. At the same time, anxiety and lack of motivation are a serious obstacle to successful learning, manifested in feelings of frustration and irritation, which in the long run reduces productivity. The next section was devoted to reviewing the work. The author focuses on such educational technology as art therapy. It includes: the use of illustrative visual aids (graphic illustrations, sunbullets, posters, etc.); watching videos, listening to music, creating collages on various topics, essays, performing various roles in dialogues and role-playing games. Art-based learning technology can be used in the classroom at once within the framework of two trends in the development of modern educational technologies: moral education and lifelong learning. Thanks to art, students reproduce a harmonious picture of the world, become emotionally stable, which helps to form thoughts correctly. It is important to use methods in the classroom: visualization, a communicative approach, etc. The article concludes with a section discussing the results, which provides recommendations for working with student motivation. Bibliography. The bibliography of the article includes 12 domestic and foreign sources, a small part of which has been published in the last three years. The list contains mainly articles and abstracts. At the same time, there are educational and methodological materials and monographs. The sources are mostly designed correctly and uniformly. Appeal to opponents. Recommendations: - formalize the introduction, highlight the relevance from the position of scientific deficiency; identify the methodological basis, object and subject of research; - highlight the prospects for further study of the problem; - describe the diagnostic study in more detail. Conclusions. The problems of the article are of undoubted relevance, theoretical and practical value; it will be of interest to specialists who study the teaching of foreign languages in non-linguistic institutions. The article may be recommended for publication, it is important to take into account the highlighted recommendations. This allows you to submit to the editorial board a research article that is characterized by scientific novelty.
