Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS Countries: Activity and Regulation Abstract: The article proves the international importance and empirical significance of the general legal, law-making and practical activities undertaken by the members of CIS in the in the field of human development and international cooperation. It is proposed to look at the socio-cultural interaction of neighboring countries as the most important area of international contacts which shown humanistic potential of society and based on general history of the development of culture and the traditional life of the people. The author sees the great prospects for social progress in the CIS members in the humanitarian cooperation and in the development of corresponding legislation.
