Varavenko V.E. Formation and Development of the Contract law of the People’s Republic of ChinaAbstract: The article is dedicated to development of Chinese contract law during 20th century and its current state. Sources of Chinese contract law, in particular Contract Law of the PRC, administrative regulations and interpretations of the Supreme People’s Court of the PRC are analyzed. Factors that have influenced formation and development of the contract law are revealed as like as lawmaking features that are conditioned by those factors.
