Abstract: This article includes scientifi c analysis of the legal bases for dealing with waste of production and usage. The authors study the norms of legislation of a number of foreign states in the sphere of classifi cation and treatment of medicinal waste. The term “medicinal waste” is characterized based on the sources of their formation within the framework of sanitary and epidemiological by-laws and other normative acts.
