Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of information and some of its kinds, based on which the author establishes the position that the information is an independent object of civil rights and it keeps its spot within the system of civil law relations, in spite of the fact of its exclusion from a closed list under Art. 128 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
