Abstract: This article provides a brief overview of the activities of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) during the 102th plenary session, held in Venice in June 2015, where a number of conclusions regarding the legislation of Montenegro, Moldova, Georgia and other countries were considered. Particular attention of the members of the Venice Commission has been given to the Ukrainian legislation, in particular the amendments to the Law on Judicial System and Status of Judges, as well as the needs for changes to the law on lustration and constitutional reform.
