Andrusenko S.P., Wye E.M. Criminal-Law Protection of Victims of Crime under the Laws of GermanyAbstract: The article examines the criminal protection of victims of crime in Germany. It considers the institute of criminal punishment by which social justice is restored. It analyzes the provisions of German law and legal theory that can be put into perspective by the reception of German law in Russia. Keywords: punishment, victim, compensation, retribution.
