Korneenkov, S.S. Psychological self-test in an altered state of consciousness: individuals of right and left hemisphere, the Higher Self

Abstract: The overall objective of the study: experimental test of the learning ability and self-knowledge in the unity of waking and altered states of consciousness. Partial purposes: a) to perform the subjective self-diagnosis of the left and right hemispheres on the basis of functional brain asymmetry; b) to establish psychological characteristics of personalities of the right and left hemispheres in different ages; c) to determine the characteristics of the psychological relationship between the individual and the Higher Self, d) to identify features of perception, emotions and thinking associated with the process of self-diagnosis in an altered state consciousness. To achieve the objectives of the study the author used the integrated technology of teaching and self-knowledge in the waking and altered states of consciousness, that allows to self-test and learn about the peculiarities of one’s mental development. The presence of functional brain asymmetry leads to the formation and development of two personalities as a whole. The harmonious development of an individual is provided in integration of psycho-physiological functions of the right and left hemispheres. The article brings into scientific use the term “a person of the left hemisphere” and “a person of the right hemisphere.”
