Abstract: Alexander Nikolayevich Radishchev was a well-known prosaist, poet and thinker, who, according to the definition of Catherine the Great, was a “rebel worse than Pugachev”, and in fact was a scientific revolutionary of Russian criminal law. His views toward criminal law Radishchev developed in almost every work on jurisprudence. His works are marked with broad expertise and sound generalizations, reflecting the sharp intelligence of a lawyer and a historian, a philosopher and a sociologist. Radishchev tried to realize his legal ideas in the form of legislative projects within the tsarist state system… The research methodology is based on dialectics, abstraction, analysis, synthesis, deduction, the formal-legal, comparative-legal and statistical methods and the method of intersectoral legal sciences. A.N. Radishchev proposed a comprehensive, scientifically founded model of criminal law. Depending on the value priorities of the legal system, the model of criminal law, proposed by Radishchev, can be qualified as a person-centered model. This model of criminal law is one of the first doctrinal models in the context of Russian criminal law.

Paradoxically, his elevation is connected with the grief of my friend – the head of the division. - That’s right, it is exactly what I’d supposed. It was intuition, a light flash, an ungrounded guess. That’s why I hadn’t told you anything. And only after the attack on me I understood that I’d been right. It wasn’t a revenge; it was a fear of losing the most beloved person. Love instigates people to a murder, of course, if they aren’t out of their mind. Though, people in love are exactly those out of mind.

Abstract: The shop’s robbed on the division’s territory. To make things worse, the criminals didn’t only rob the shop; they robbed the shop with the study of the head of the political department above it. That was Rosin reported to Crispus who was smoking continually. Waiting for Crispus’ reaction, Rosin was nervously trying to guess what was going to happen and how to react to it. Rosin reports the arrival of an investigator from Moscow who had been sent to deal with the stealing. Crispus reacts with enthusiasm, hoping he would get rid of the problem, but Rosin disappoints him saying that the case will be investigated through joint efforts, and they both go to the prosecutor. The prosecutor is trying to keep a poker face, but he can hardly do it. A cold case at the end of the year, with a prospect of reporting to Moscow, is far from being a New Year gift.

Abstract:  As I’d been doing for ages, one Saturday I dropped in the “Moskva” bookstore. In the second-hand department, among lots and lots of books, I suddenly noticed a massive, thickly brown volume in a heavy, as if armored, cover. Lev Romanovich Sheinin was a person with an unusual biography and an amazing fate. That time he interested me also because I was working on the novel-chronicle about the Nuremberg trials, in which Sheinin had participated and even had been drawn into a serious intrigue, which eventually turned very sadly for him… Lev Romanovich Sheinin died more than forty years ago, and only few people now remember his past deeds and sufferings, but his books are still republished and read with a huge interest. His name is associated with creative work, which, according to him, cured his soul and helped him to live. “Only in creative work, - said an outstanding Russian lawyer and writer Anatoly Fyodorovich Koni, - there is a joy. All the rest is a dust and vanity”. How right was he…The author of the article uses the formal-logical and the structural-functional methods of cognition.
