Abstract: Comparative legal aspects of separate types of education: environmental, sporting, artistic, military and others are considered in the article. The author examines the existing legal regulation of certain types of education in different countries, its distinctive features, the positive and negative sides. Comparative analysis of different approaches to the regulation of certain types of education used in Russian legislation is carried out.
