Abstract:
The article of a prominent scholar, member of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation is devoted to an acute problem of direct action of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The author shows the evolution of the ideas of constitutionalism, the transformation of the Constitution into an acting law laying down fundamentals of social and rule of law state. The main points of research are the objective limits and forms of direct action of the Constitution; concretization of constitutional provisions on fundamental rights; actualization of constitutional provisions on basic responsibilities.
