Abstract:
This is the first work in Russian scientific literature in law that discusses the basis for withdrawal of
members of the Committee for Observance of Requirements Set for Official Behavior of Civil (Municipal) Officers
and Management of Conflict of Interest, provides their classification and suggests a procedure of withdrawal of
members of these committees in order to make the committees’ activities more successful.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to a new federal law concerning house arrest. The author notes that this new law
regulates the use of house arrest as a measure of suppression in more detail. At the same time, the current version
of the law still has certain debatable provisions. The author of the article suggests ways of improvement of this new
law. According to the author, there should be a new version of the law.

Abstract:
This article is devoted to the tax systems of Russia, European countries and the USA and contains their
comparative analysis. It is shown that the flat tax scale that is used in Russia has certain disadvantages compared
to the progressive tax scale used in the USA and European countries since the latter keeps the prices and inflation
own as well as contributes to the innovative development of enterprise activity. Moreover, American system of
taxation that covers part of profit but not certain economic performance simplifies the process of accounting and,
consequently, supervision by the tax authorities.
