Legal Regulation of Activities Performed by Subdivisions of Internal Affairs Bodies In Order to Suppress Extremist’s ManifestationsAbstract: The article is devoted to the legal and organizational grounds of activities performed by internal authorities in order to prevent extremism. The author of the article describes the function of police in this sphere. The author’s analysis of the operative situation in extremism prevention in the Russian Federation shows that extremism has been significantly growing over the past years. New radical groups based on ideology of national, race and religious intolerance have been created and the level of extremism has been increased.
