Abstract: The author of the article offers a psychological typology of information-based professional activity. This study represents application of an information-based approach to psychological research of information-based professional activity. The author of the article discusses the established methods of determination of information-psychological parameters of economist’s labor stations that lies at the root of classification. The author also makes a hypothesis about the established typology of labor stations being one of the most important determinants of psychological structure of the studied activity.
