Abstract: The article is devoted to the sources of regulation of the contract for the international carriage of goods by road. The author analyzed the provisions of conventions and treaties as well as the law of the Russian Federation applicable to the international carriage of goods by road. The conclusion is drawn that currently there exists a variety of sources which govern different aspects of the contract for the international carriage of goods by road. While it is noted that it is necessary to consider the possibility of accession by the Russian Federation to the other conventions in this field.
