Abstract: The authors of the article summarized the series of articles about the role of Komsomol in the spiritual life of Russian society during the first post-war decade. The main conclusion the researches made suggested the following: during the first post-war decade young people (at least Komsomol) had been an active participant of the social life. Social activity of the youth was directly connected with the youth’s ability to create something new and change the reality.
