Egorova, M. A. Conceptual Approach to Ethnic Conflicts in Western Europe

Abstract: The article views the number of approaches and conceptions in conflict management which can reflect the reasons, development and peculiarities of ethnic conflicts. The author also analyzed dangerous situations which can lead to ethnic conflicts in multi-ethnic society. Nowadays ethnic conflicts very often occur as a response to globalization and corresponding dangers. For example, growing separatist’s tendencies in Europe is a reaction of ethnic minority to new dangers threatening all the small nations and every person in particular.
